Question #1 - Is there a known problem with Checkout Links and Buy Now buttons, or are they disabled? I'm so frustrated with the Weebly migration. Checkout links don't work, whether the straight link or the embed button code. It will load the product and allow variation selection, then just spins forever on Mac Firefox, Safari, and Android Chrome after pressing Checkout. (See picture below.)
Also frustrating that the product pages no longer have embed code or social sharing. I so regret the move to Weebly, it's worse than WordPress and that's saying a lot!
Question#2 - Can Square just let us revert back to the original online store until all of the bugginess is eliminated and the previous features restored? I chose and touted Square for years because of its streamlined (and reliable) functionality. Now I wonder if I need a different payment processor.

At the moment, we have no way to revert our sellers back onto the old version of the online store, but I'd be happy to look into this issue. When you have a moment, can you reply with your website URL so I can view it as a customer. Thank you.

When I said they’re now working, perhaps I was premature.
This is what I just experienced, I had to refresh the link several times before the modifiers loaded, frustrated…

It's still working just fine for me.
Actually, the first time I opened it, it did take a second to show me the rest of the modifiers after selecting between full or half sandwich.
Now, I open the link and it shows all modifiers right away.
I have reached out to the team again, providing the new details we have gathered, but while I get a response (it might not be today, unfortunately), I'd like to try one thing.
Would you be able to clear the cache on the browser you are using to load the checkout link, then open the link again?

While clearing the cache appeared to help, it is still randomly working or not working. I can get the items to fully load after a few refreshes of the browser but my concerns are more for my customers who receive the checkout links and if they work for them.
Are other merchants posting here, also still having issues?

I have some news!
So first thing in question is the number of modifiers and options we have for this particular item. The fact that we have a long list could be causing issues with the checkout link.
I have personally never seen that happen, but checkout links are also not used as often for food items, which tend to have more modifiers.
As a workaround while engineering investigates, our team suggested sending the item page link instead (https://eatatmaxs.square.site/product/-05-berkeley-dieter-/155)
Would this work for you or is there a particular reason why you were trying to use checkout links?

As for why I use Checkout Links (which is extremely rare), it is to make some customized items available to a select few customers without having them Visible on our online ordering platform. In addition, as a Beta & Super Seller merchant, it is imperative that I give solid feedback on items/features that aren’t working as intended.
That's a great question!
Each one of your items has an item page in your website.
If you head to your Site Editor, then select the Pages dropdown menu on the left and scroll down to Item Pages, you'll see all of your items listed.
Click on the item you want the link for and then go to the Page Settings by clicking the gear icon and you'll find the link there.
I know that's a lot of steps 😅
With the template you are using for your website, that's the only way to access the direct link for a specific item that I know of.

Hello, @AriseIM - Welcome to our Seller Community and sorry to hear you are having issues with your checkout link. We can see that they are not currently working. Did you create them in your Square Online Dashboard or directly from your website?

Have the SSL certs expired on any of the servers for https://checkout.square.site/ because I keep getting secure connection failed errors on safari, chrome and Firefox? [PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR]. I've dumped my cache on all the browsers and they still fail.

I just visited the link and the SSL looks active. This might've been a hiccup on the server, and it looks like it has been fixed. Please let me know if you are still experiencing this behavior.
