Sounds like you ran into internet issues while taking the payment. Usually when the POS experiences a blip in internet connection, it can result in a voided transaction even though it may seem like it's been captured.
You can confirm if the payment was indeed voided by checking the Transaction Status report from Dashboard.
If you see the failed transaction there, you'll need to reach out to your customer and reprocess the payment.
