We participate in farmers markets to sell our product and have setup multiple locations in Square, which is handy when it comes to collecting sales tax, as each market is in a different taxing jurisdiction.
We want to track inventory (stock) but at a global level, not on a per-location level. It seems we can only manage stock "per location". Is there a way to have a common inventory across all locations?
Thanks,
Matthew

@NewHopeFarm Do you do different places on different days? and are you wanting to keep an inventory for on hand or just track what you sell?
The inventory plus tier has where you can transfer inventory from location to location...so in theory you could just transfer your whole inventory each week to a different location. I would just double check your tax to make sure it doesn't mess that up.

If you need to transfer stock from one location to another, you can transfer individual items, or move your inventory in bulk — quickly and easily.
To get started:
Navigate to Items & Orders > Items tab of your online Square Dashboard.
Click Actions > Transfer Stock. From here you can begin your stock transfer.
Select both the source and destination locations.
Choose the items to transfer and enter the transfer quantity. Take note of the current source location stock levels to ensure you have enough stock to support the transfer.
Click Complete Transfer."
Thanks Donnie. Is the "inventory plus tier" an additional service? I don't see the Transfer Stock under my action menu.
Looks like it is called Square for Retail?

Replying to my own post as I found answer. In order to get the 'bulk transfer' option you have to sign up for Square for Retail Plus to the tune of $60/month.
