SquarePay not working with Firefox 115.0.3 (64-bit)?

I'm new to Square but I believe I may have hit an issue which would surely be impacting a large number of users.

Firefox 115.0.3 (64-bit), which is latest version as at 29 Jul 2023

Using via desktop.

On the default SquarePay checkout screen, when I click on the "Place order" button, nothing happens. The same steps in Microsoft Edge 115.0.1901.188 (64-bit) results in the order being successfully generated.

Have I missed something obvious or is this a genuine defect?
