Since about two weeks ago, square no longer prompts Microsoft Edge to autofill login information. Every other site I use Edge for appears to be working just fine, but whenever I try to login to Square I have to manually type in my email. I have already removed and readded login information on the Edge autofill settings, I have cleared all cached information for Square, and it still will not trigger autofill when acccessing Square Dashboard (squareup.com) or login page.
Was there an update that removed its ability to work with autofills?

hey @vhsnaples the Dashboard URL recently changed to app.squareup.com
Safari and Chrome browser autofill automatically detected and updated it. I’m guessing that Edge did not. Just manually change the base URL and you should be good to go.

I have changed the base URL and deleted the old autofill cache with zero luck. When I open up the square login page it remains blank. When I type in my username and it goes to the page for the password, it will autofill the password, however there is no memory of the account name.

@vhsnaples that is odd. It sounds like you’ve done everything I can think of, unfortunately. I’m going to tag a couple of Square moderators here to see if they can assist. If you get the chance, it would be helpful if you would do a screen-grab video showing this and post it here for the engineers to see. Turn on the audio recording, too, and narrate a little. Here is a link to a short clip showing the issue I am having. I just tried clearing all the cookies and cached data for the site again, changed the URL on the autofill, and even changed my email address to a shortened version to see if there was an issue with my OG email... autofill works fine on all other sites and for some reason square continues to not trigger the autofill of my username and asks if I am a robot every time.

Thanks. Now I realize that I misunderstood your question, initially. This issue of the username not pre-filling (based upon the last sign in) is not just Edge — it is all browsers, it seems. Honestly, since iOS/iPadOS automatically brings up the password-autofill I just didn’t give it another thought. Anyway, the video helps, but I’m at a loss about whether or not this is a Square things. I suspect as much, but can’t be sure. So, I’m going to tag a few moderators to have them check into it. @_Violet @Katie_SQ @JJ_ @MayaP
As for the “I am not a robot” thing, don’t get me started. I complained loudly about this in a private group I am a member of — over two months ago. I detest/hate/despise ReCaptcha, and always will. But I’m not a fan of 1980s security technology, either. Ha. I’ve noticed lately that at least I’m not prompted to “find all of the motorcycles” and that most often the check mark does the trick. So, that helps a little. But this is something that seems to be here to stay, which does not make me happy at all.
