Something is wrong with Stories

New Stories are not being published unless you publish them, and then go back into the story and make any edit, and re-publish. Otherwise new and old stories get dropped.  This will become a problem if you have 100 stories that get knocked down every time you publish a new story.  Is anyone at HQ looking into this?

its happening to me too- function doesn't work- like is it publish or preview publish? come on
