Help! My bank account was successfully linked my my Square but my transfers are still not going through. Money is just sitting in my Square balance. Is this a technical glitch or do I need to reach out to my bank? Anyone else have this problem? Square says the transfer is pending but it's been that way for several days. How do I fix it??
@WorthyArtsCo is this a new account? Have you had any "large" transactions? I would check your e-mail to make sure there isn't any further review items that square is asking for. I have seen new accounts where someone will open a square account, charge in a couple of high risk sales (i.e. online invoice or card not present manually keyed transactions) and then wonder why there is a hold on moving the funds to their bank account.
I’ve had the account for a long time but recently changed my linked bank account. I haven’t had any unusually large transactions either. Everything in the verification process looks complete but my transfer never went through.
Since you just changed your Bank, I am wondering if Square is moving Slow at this in case this was a unintentional change. I would call Square this might be a safety measure to make sure you changed the Linked accounts and not an employee changing this or worse.
