Hi all. I have a clothing retail business, I conduct most of my transactions online via my Etsy shop. I also do in-person market events, where customers can pay for product via Square which is synced with my Etsy shop. When customers purchase online via my Etsy shop, Etsy collects and remits sales tax on my behalf. How does it work with my Etsy listings synced on square and in-person purchases? When the customers checked out during the event, I don't see sales tax added. Do I need to add sales tax when using square (I thought since it was synced with Etsy, Etsy would take care of it??) Thanks for your help.

Yes, you'll need to configure your taxes for when you use Square. The Sync does allow you to control inventory and easily add all of your items that are already in one platform to the other one, but other settings do not sync.
You can learn about creating and managing your Tax settings here.
