I've set the SEO Page Title for my categories but they are not being displayed. Instead, it is displaying the main SEO Page Title. Is this a known bug? Or am I missing something?
To be really specific, for this page:
Green Farm Juicery - Organic, Cold Pressed Juices, Smoothies, Acai Bowls and more
I've set the SEO Page Title to: "Organic Cold-Pressed Smoothies in Ohio"
But it is using: " | Green Farm Juicery - Organic, Cold Pressed Juices, Smoothies, Acai Bowls and more"
I don't have a solution since I use a non-square host for my site but your meta information is not getting saved properly. But you know this.
The snippet below is from your website directly so wherever you set the meta data is not being done correctly/picked up. It looks like the 'title' value is not being set properly.
<meta property="og:title" content=" | Green Farm Juicery - Organic, Cold Pressed Juices, Smoothies, Acai Bowls and more" /> <meta property="og:site_name" content="Green Farm Juicery - Organic, Cold Pressed Juices, Smoothies, Acai Bowls and more" /> <meta property="og:url" content="https://orders.greenfarmjuicery.com/s/order/2" /> <meta property="og:type" content="website" />
Yup. I also set the Description for the category in the SEO section and that isn't getting set either. A proper implementation would likely have anything set at the Category or Product level override anything set at the Global level. Near as I can tell, this is a bug.
@efficiondave @FoxandThistle I checked in with one of our Weebly specialists regarding this issue. They said to try and republish and see if that helps. What you should be seeing is "page title | site title". If that doesn't work let me know.
I see the exact same thing as before
@FoxandThistle Darn. Ok thanks for letting me know. It does sound like it might be a bug but I'm sure it's not known. When you have a moment can you reach out to our Weebly Support Team so they can check into it more for you? They'll be able to report it to our Engineering Team if it's something that needs some fixing on the back end.
Nika This is not a problem I am having. I am replying to a post by efficiondave. He is having the problem.
I have a perhaps-related problem. The page title of my home page (judygilligan.com) does not show up in the address bar in either Firefox or Chrome or Safari. The title of the home page is set, but only the site address shows up in the address bar. Any clues?
Hi @DavidKline - sorry to see that trouble has brought you to the Seller Community! 😥
I don't believe I'm seeing the issue you've described from my end. I'll share a screenshot below. I am using Chrome as my web browser.
I'm happy to help but I'll need some more detail in order to better understand your question. Whenever you have a moment, please reply to this thread with a little more information describing your technical issue or question. I’ll be sure to follow up as soon as possible!

Silly me. I was just not looking in the right place. Thanks for the prompt to go back and look harder 🙂
