Hello there,
I bought my Square Reader on Amazon in the UK and I am using it solely in the UK. When I go to connect it to my iphone, the following message pops up:
"This reader is not compatible with the country you are in. You must use a Square Reader that is specific to your country"
In the instructions manual it refers to all the help sites being /uk, so I presume it is a reader that is specific to the UK. Any advice on what to do? Thank you in advance!

Sorry to hear you're running into this, it definitely sounds strange.
From what you've described, it sounds like the Square Reader that was sent to you from Amazon was manufactured in the UK.
The only other setting that could affect this would be if you are using an iOS device you may have your Apple ID set to the incorrect country or region and therefore have an incorrect version of the Square app downloaded.
