We created a holiday offer and emailed it to our customers via square marketing. When customers make a payment by entering their credit card, they see an error that they are taken to an insecure site. And their card is charged too. some customers tried again and they were double charged after getting the you are going to unsecured website error ..
atleast 3 customers have eported it. i do not know which browser they were on. all they wanted was a refund to be issued.
and the square tech support has been of no help so far ... sitting on a call with them and they are trying to convince me to clear my cookie. i do not know how clearing my cookie will solve the customer payments taking them to insecure website warning - instead of saying thank you for your payment or something...
any help is appreciated.

square support says we are unable to recreate this issue ... so it is not an issue .. . for real?
Hey there @mdbodysculpting.
I am sorry to hear about this frustrating experience. While there is no way to deny that your customers confronted an issue with the checkout process, this might have been a hiccup on the system, their connection to your website, or the device in use.
If we were unable to replicate the issue it doesn't mean that nothing is wrong is just that our product teams would be unable to address something that cannot be identified. I know this can be frustrating but I was not able to locate any other reports similar to yours. If this continues to be the case I suggest you get some information from your customers to better pinpoint this situation and address it by escalating it to our Advanced Support team.
