I am lost at why I can hide POS items from online visibility but I can not hide online items from the POS. What this means is I see all 300 items of my online items in my POS and I am forced to use favorites every time.

 This might be because if you have an Item online to sell, Square may assume you want to sell it in Retail also.  Now if you have an Item for sale in store you may not want to sell it online because of shipping the item.  

Would be nice if you could hide it from the POS but then if you get a Phone Order for that item, would you be able to sell it over the phone to the person?  I am not sure what size place you have or how many items but if you used a Scanner, you would not have to use the Favorites.  Just scan the barcode and its in the checkout cart.  You can also type in the items Name or SKU to find an item besides looking for it in Favorites.  As you type in the Items name or sku it will start populating suggestions from what you typed in.  I have done this when a barcode was damaged or when I want to see how many of an item I have for a customer without having the item to scan.

@Candlestore So for us it's a bit different. We don't have a retail space. We do a lot of craft shows and a lot of custom orders. But for the craft shows we do special things that don't go online and visa versa. What happens is the help that uses the tablet gets confused and I spend an hour explaining.

So your issue is more so training for the Craft type Shows?

Do you track each Item you sell so you know what to take to another show or are they 1 off Items?

When I first started doing small craft type shows I had 3 prices for the event and 3 Items in Square which were the size of my jars.   So all my 8oz were 1 price and no matter the scent it was just listed as an 8oz candle.... same for 16oz and 28oz.

Was not sure what you sell or make if  you could do something similar for smaller craft shows.

The other thing you could do is have your Items you sell at craft shows placed into a category called Craft Shows for Example.  Then if you use the Ipad for a tablet you could reorganize the Grid that you have another selectable Tile called Craft Show..... then your workers could select that Tile instead of Favorites and only have the items at shows in that Tile.

This will tell you how to add or move around tiles etc.  I have my Incense on here because my Barcodes I made out of Square are borderline for readability..... the Barcode is a little small to fit my custom labels.  Again I did not use Square to print my barcodes though either.
