Last update causing retail POS to autogenerate wrong items?!!

After the last update, we are having a ton of issues. When adding a new item to inventory, it now auto generates an item once you've added a sku. The problem is, it's not the right item!! It's not even something we sell (we're a wine & liquor store, it's auto filling car parts...). Then you don't even know when it does that, so you can find your item afterwards to make sure it's right, since it's the wrong name. Something glitchy with the AI?! Also, we were told by the customer service rep, you can't turn it off.

 

The system has also slowed way down, and we had problems with our display not taking credit cards.

 

Square - can you stop messing with things please?! Every update bring us problems, but yet you haven't added features owners have been asking for for years.

That definitely sounds odd! Are you able to get a screenshot, or video (best) by chance?

 

You mentioned the customer service rep said you cannot turn it off. Did they check with the team to make sure this is not a bug? It sounds super glitchy to me... especially if it is displaying random items that you do not even sell.
