Item not available issue

I've spent several hours on trying to fix this and going through the forums here and also already chatted in with support with no fix yet. I'll just lay out the checks already made.

6 products currently on my store. 2 are fine, 4 are showing not available. They're all setup the same way which I'll line out below. For example on my other monitor I have two of the item pages open right now, one that's not working correctly and one that is, and everything is setup the same.

 

Site was working just fine until 3/10/2025 (m/d/y). Like, I was testing site performance through Google Lighthouse on 3/9 and everything was available on the pages. Then double checked a QR code on the 10th and noticed the issues.

 

Checkout - Accept online orders is turned on.
Fulfillment > Shipping from my address
Shipping carriers setup
Shipping profiles setup default to all items - I have 4 profiles for regional pricing for weight and distance. regions 1-4, 5, 6, 7. I don't ship anywhere outside that. I've tested this through the checkout process and it works.

 

All item defaults are left the same -
categories set (visibility checked here too) - 5 in one (1 good here, rest unavail), 1 good in the other
Physical items - default to all items
Price and weight filled out

Where it's sold - my website

Site Visibility - Visible -  defaulted to all items.
Online fulfillment method - Shipping default

Support had me add my address to the customer receipt. Online settings> general. Dubious about this fixing anything (and hasn't yet), since the website was working just fine previously. 

 

I used this search through google - square online "not available" - and searched through the first three pages of results looking for a solution. The only one I haven't tried is unpublish/republish as I'd like to avoid that. Obviously most are out of date with how the system is designed with the merger or have multiple areas with the same settings.

 

But I've checked those too for example -

Item defaults can all be adjusted at the follow locations
Site Items > Settings > Item Defaults
Online > Items > Item Preferences
And then of course on the items themselves

I've also gone through this list. Which a lot of the search results went over the same information.

Anyway, I'm just making this to have a place to come back to and edit in a solution once it's found. Would be nice if there was a popup or something explaining exactly what flag is causing the add to cart button to be disabled (inspect element) though.

Hi there @Whitmw.  This suggestion is going to sound completely crazy, but…

 

Just for the heck of it, create a duplicate of one of the items with this issue.  From scratch.  Don’t copy anything.  Don’t duplicate anything.  Don’t copy/paste anything.  Also, give it a weird name, so you’ll recognize it as the new item.  Then give things a while to propagate to servers and check your store.  If this new item shows up, then yay.  You can re-create the rest (again from scratch) and delete those 4 items with the issue.  Hopefully it’s as simple as that.

Appreciate the thought, but that wouldn't really figure out the root problem. Talked to support again, and they accessed my dashboard. Ended up needing to bulk edit and update the fulfillment for the items not working (probably did nothing, cause I tried that) and then unpublish/republish (probably what worked) the site to fix the issue. So not really figuring out the root problem there, but I guess better than recreating pages.

I’m glad it is  fixed. Honestly as a fellow seller I’m not here to figure out the root problems, usually. My main goal is to help others find solutions to their problems. If I help find the underlying issues that’s a bonus. But it very much above my pay grade.
