Issue with duplicate token and missing items in excel export library
I'm having issues recently with item library export. Tried to export to both excel and csv type and both files now shows missing items and duplicate token ID.
For the missing items, initially we thought the issue is the item naming convention as removing the ## + Space from "## text" fixes some, however not all is in the same naming convention. ie. they do not start with two characters at the front of the item name.
For the issue with duplicate token ID, some are shown with duplicate item name, other are shown with blank on the second duplicate entry.
Not sure if there is any settings we are missing. Thanks for the assist.

I'm having this problem as well -- exported my library as both Excel and CSV and have multiple duplicates for many items. For example:
The third item is the original item, and is the only one that shows in my Item Library in my Dashboard when I search by SKU:
Edited to add: I've been testing the new stock unit feature, and wonder if this has something to do with this error; I just tried to add some Items to my library by importing from a spreadsheet and got the following error which I've never seen before:

Exact same issue here. Our inventory was perfect. And since Square added the new column titled "Reference Handle" at the front of the inventory, I have been having these same issues. Duplicate entries that look just like what you show above with the same Token. I even completely cleaned the inventory of all dupes and validated it, uploaded it as a new inventory to replace the existing (maintaining both the Reference Handle and the Token). But it still created these duplicate entries! They don't show up on the Square Dashboard but when the inventory is exported, they are listed. This didn't happen prior to 2 weeks ago????

We're having issues with missing items in our export as well. About half of our items that show up in the "Items" screen in Square don't show up in the export. We are not seeing the "Reference Handle" column or any duplicates right. This broke about a week ago, we normally do an export/import every day to bring in new items and adjust current ones.

We are also missing items in our export. We do not have a "Reference Handle" column. We are a gallery, so each SKU by any particular artist begins with their initials (or something close if there are duplicates). The remaining numbers indicate the type of work. Although I cannot be certain about EVERYTHING that may be missing, I am certain that one particular artist - does not show up in the Export. We use this list to manage inventory., and along with sales, manage commissions among other things....
No settings have been changed - the export has no variables to change or edit - it is assumed to be a dump of every item listed on the system. When can we expect this to be addressed?

There was an issue with inventory exporting which caused tokens to be duplicated and the export to be incomplete. However, our team have rolled out a fix for this that should resolved the issue.
