I need help removing an old weebly website immediately

I need help deleting an old weebly website that was made about 10 years ago.  This website is from a different time in my life and I do not want it appearing on google search results. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the email address linked to the account anymore.

This is the URL for the website: https://enwraptured.weebly.com/home.html

Hi @KathP,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for advice on this - Welcome!

I understand the predicament you're in here, however as Chip mentions (thanks @TheRealChipA!), we would need to verify you as the account holder before we could assist with updating the email address, and un-publishing the site.

Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to take you through account security here on the Community platform, however if you fill out the information requested on this Weebly Account Recovery form, the Weebly support team should be able to assist.

You'll see there is an option there specifically for account holders who no longer have access to the associated email account.

Hope this helps!

Hi @KathP.  I’m going to tag the Square Moderators here in the Community.  One of them will be able to assist you with this.  However, be aware that this is not as simple as stating that this is your website and you want it deleted.  They will have to figure out a way to be really certain that you are indeed it’s owner with authorization to delete it.

This website was created by an old collaborator of mine. But the site displays my full name with some very inappropriate photos. I’m actually surprised it hasn’t been flagged for removal already.

I have the original email and password used, but it is saying the password is expired and I need to reset it. I don’t have access to the email anymore to do this. I’ve already reported this site to google, but it is going to take a while. I am happy to provide documentation that I am the person whose name and photos are on the site though.

Ok. One of the moderators will be in touch. They will have to handle this privately with you.

I wouldn’t be surprised if squares hands are tied into a police report has been filed, though. That’s the way the law works quite often.
