How do i input a referral code?

Good afternoon,

So today I got a referral code from a friend to use square. The link kept having issues so I just created a new square account assuming it would give me a place to to enter a referral code. However, that did not happen. I would like to use the benefits of this referral but I think I messed up by creating the account first. Is there a fix for this?

I've moved your post to our Troubleshooting board since this issue isn't related to Square's Payment API.

In order to give credit to the Square Seller who referred you, you'll need to use their referral link which will direct you to the sign-up process. 
 

Whenever you have a moment, please reply to this message with a little more information describing what's happening when you try to use the referral link so I can best assist you. A screenshot would be helpful too!
