How To Verify Account Without Cell Phone

I have been tasked with signing up for Square but my employer only has landlines, no cell phones. I tried signing up for Square but when I go to verify it asks for a cell phone number. I do not want my personal number associated with my employers Square account. How do I complete verification without a cell phone number?

2 days with no response and no help via phone support. Time to sign up with Clover instead.

There really is no way to sign up for an account without a cell phone number. You will find this across most payment processing platforms. Cell phone numbers are commonly used for two step authentication processes. 

Does your employer have a personal cell phone they can use for the Square Account?
