Error Processing Payment on Woocommerce/Wordpress

I currently am using Square, via Woocommerce, Wordpress for my site (www.powerfabrication.net).

Unfortunately, when people make payments through Square on my site they do not process, and there is an error that reads:

Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.

 

Are there any tips on how I can fix this error and allow customers to process payments on my site,

Thanks Tom for the swift response and for forwarding my concerns to the API crew. In the meantime, I’ll check out the overflow page.

 

Luckily, customers can order products using PayPal while the Square plugin sorts itself out (:

Thanks for your patience, @powerfab, I have some more insight that may help sort this out.

 

When you have the chance, please try disconnecting your WooCommerce integration from the online Square Dashboard, then re-connect it. This should allow you to go through the OAuth process again and get a new token. If the OAuth remains idle for longer than 30 days, it may expire.

 

Hope this helps clear things up! If not, please let me know and I'll escalate this for a closer look right away. 🙂

Thank you for the response Tom!

So I "deactivated" and "re-activated" my business location; does this count as the "WooCommerce integration" you mentioned? Otherwise, I don't see anything Woocommerce related on my Square Dashboard. Should I download the Woocommerce/Square app? (however, the app looks like it has more to do with synching inventory). I also deactivated and activated the Square plugin, and even deleted it and reinstalled it. I tried to make a purchase after these two things, with no prevail. Any ideas? 🙂

Sorry for the confusion—thanks for taking the time to check on that.

 

One more suggestion: can you try navigating to your Square Apps page? There should be an application called WooCommerce showing in the list. Please click the "X" next to "Square account access" to remove the WooCommerce integration. Then, navigate back to the App Marketplace and find WooCommerce (under the "eCommerce" section), and re-add it to your Square account by clicking on it and following the instructions.

 

After completing these steps, if you're still unable to complete a transaction, please reach out to WooCommerce directly and request assistance. If they are unable to sort this out, please respond here with a ticket/case number and we'll look into it further.
