Epson TM-M30II printer does not connect with Square iPad app

As of July 2025, I'm still getting the same issue. 😿

My Epson TM-m30IIIs are fine with the Square Terminal over Wi-Fi.

But they couldn't be found in my Square iPad app.

Hi, @t0mmy ! Welcome to the Square Community!

Connection issues are the absolute worst, so I'm sure it's frustrating trying to get it to show up.

If your Epson TM-m30IIIs work fine with Square Terminal over Wi-Fi but aren’t showing up in the Square iPad app, there are a few things to check.

First, make sure both the iPad and the printer are connected to the exact same Wi-Fi network. Then, double-check that your Square POS app is fully updated. The TM-m30IIIs model is supported, but only over network connections, not Bluetooth, when using with iPads. You might also want to restart both the printer and the router to refresh the connection.

If everything seems right and the iPad still doesn’t find the printer, open the Epson TM Utility app to confirm the printer's IP address and settings. Sometimes, assigning a static IP address to the printer in your router settings can help prevent connectivity issues.

Try these and then let me know if you are still seeing the same issue!
