I am looking for a YEARLY payroll report. I do not want to run a monthly report and add them together. Does anyone have a way to do this?
@CoffeeNerd So, first, my answer is going to seem counter-intuitive and wrong, but just trust me.
I think the report you want is found from your web dashboard > Staff > Payroll > Run Payroll. That "Run Payroll" part is plain weird, but.... Anyway, at the bottom of this screen is a Payroll History section. Click "View all" at the bottom of that. At the top, you'll see a "Download reports" button. Click it. Depending on the report type you want (company totals, employee totals, etc), select that report, then you can define the pay date range desired.
Let me know if that doesn't give you what you are asking for.
I have tried this several times over the years! It appears to only allow one month at a time. I have tried to start in January and highlight the month or the 1st and click all the way to December 31 and it only shows December to run the report, one month at a time if I click the month showing. What am I missing? I do not see an option to manually enter any dates either. Thanks.
@CoffeeNerd I would recommend doing this only on a tablet or computer. It’s very hard, if not impossible, to do on a small phone screen.
I do it all the time on my laptop. You can select the beginning and ending date easily there. But on small screens the field for manual date entry are missing or cut off.
This method will only allow me to pull one month at a time. I highlight one month and try to highlight another month to give it a span and it defaults to the that last month I highlighted. For instance, I highlight Jan 2005 and then highlight Dec 2025 expecting to see the year range and it only gives me Dec 2025. I have tried this on my phone and my laptop and the same results occur. i do not have access to the dashboard on a tablet. I did solve this by pulling monthly reports and adding them together, it was the best option. Thanks for the help though.
