Unemployment Insurance Rate - Not able to adjust

Has anyone else NOT been able to adjust their state unemployment insurance rate?  My Wisconsin rate increased by 0.15%, but I do not have the option to adjust it.  The instructions that i can find indicate there should be a button somewhere to edit this rate, but none to be had on my menu.  I sent a message to support about this, but have not received a reply.

This is frustrating, last thing i need is an unemployment insurance audit do to not paying the correct rate.

Hi @treasurer132 From your Online dashboard, go to Payroll > Settings > Tax Info.  At the bottom is a blue button “Add future rate.”  Click that and follow the steps.  The be sure to click Save at the top of the Tax info page, if needed.

That should be all you need to do.  Let me know if you need anything else.

Square

Hi @treasurer132 , there are a few states: Wisconsin, CA, NY, PA, VA, and WA, where Square Payroll automatically updates SUI tax rates for businesses. In these states, the option to update is grayed out. The new rate will be updated by the end of quarter in which it is effective. You may receive a debit/credit to reconcile any past tax calculations that were made at the previous rate to ensure the accuracy of your state tax payments and filings. Hope this helps!
