Time Tracking & Team Permissions

Hello!

My employees use a Square Terminal to clock in and out for the day and to record their breaks and lunch.

An employee had pointed out to me that she could view team members and their wages after she had clocked in with her passcode. This shocked me!

I checked the team permissions customization options and mostly all of the options are "off." I restarted my terminal and still no luck. I made sure all my employees are assigned the appropriate permission set too. 

So the problem to be clear is that wages can be viewed if someone goes poking around even with their restricted access of "Team Permissions."

Has anyone else had this issue? Or can tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hi @amandalocho 

It sounds like they are viewed the Team list from Square Terminal.

The two things to check would be:

1. Do you have Passcodes (Settings > Security) enabled on the device.

2. Making sure team members aren't assigned the Team Management permissions as you mentioned

Alternatively, you could also remove the Team add-on from that device, but I assume it was enabled for a reason.

The passcodes are enabled and they are all assigned the correct level of permissions. I will try removing the Team add-ons! Thank you.
