Square payroll depositing to created cashapp

I am in the process of walking a client through payroll setup and when an employee setup there account to pay through Cashapp it created a new cash app instead of adding the existing one. 
when adding it to the connected accounts it doesn’t change the connected cash app.

is there a way to fix this?

Got it! 

 

So yeah, no way to do it using the app. 

 

The employee will need to access their online portal to make changes. 

It is not possible for the employer to make changes on the employee's behalf.

From the employee facing they are unable to change the cash tag. It only requests a number so they can’t change it and they can’t remove it.

So I went to my Payroll team about this issue and they are telling me we will need to file a ticket for you.
