Scheduling Requests

Why do employee requests just disappear once they have been approved. It is very frustrating to not be able to see a chronological list of requests once they have been approved.  also when staff have asked for time off and you duplicate the schedule, the shifts just go right over any time off requests. it would be better if those shifts would automatically be moved to open shifts.

imo square needs to take a look at the "when I work" scheduling app. it was much more useful than square's scheduling system.

Great comments. I agree with both and hope the recent announcement will have the affect of some new updates to the scheduling tool.

I used WIW as well, that is, until I could no longer stomach the annual price increase. Got more expensive than it was worth. Square has had an adequate tool and like most tools they provide, features continues to improve. I agree WIW has a more user friendly UX, they have more functions available via mobile and some tricks, like the one you mentioned wiht shifts bouncing to open when there is a conflict. I can't help but think the team at Square is reviewing alternatives and attempting to build the best solution into this platform for us. On the way, having these topics surface are needed and healthy as they most helpful features to work on.

Take care of yourself and, as life provides, someone else too.
