Refunded tip still showing in employees imported tips during payroll

The other day someone accidentally tipped my team $100 instead of $1 so they processed the refund. As I was doing payroll I noticed an unusual large weekly tip amount for one person on my team and then I remembered about the accident prior in the week. So, when importing hours and tips the large tip still went to my team member even though it was refunded. I'm not sure if this is a bug but I wanted to bring it to everyone's attention.

Hello @schemjo  at this time the best way to approach these situations would be to refund the transaction and process it again. The reason behind this is that when refunding we are just refunding from the total amount in the transaction and not from the tips specifically.

 

If you are interested in Tip refunding being a feature,  I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers' interest in your request.

 

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).
