Payroll - First time hiring employee

I own and operate a hair salon. I use Square exclusively for appointments, payments, and payroll. I have worked with 1099 contractors only up until 2 weeks ago when I hired my first hourly employee. I followed all the steps in the system, she successfully registered, and has been recording her hours. I've been unable to figure out how she's paid, and what happens with her withholdings. I'm not able to reach Square support during their hours as of right now so I'm hoping to find some insight through here.

Hi Becca, Congratulations for taking the leap and hiring your first employee. It will be SO worth it, I started with one and now have 12. Teething issues can happen at the beginning. I operate my payroll separate from Square through my accountant so I can't help too much with this but if you have any questions on appointments, payments or with your first employee, I'll always be happy to help. xx
