Linking a 2nd Bank account for back up funding

Hi,

 

Is there a way to link a 2nd bank account as a source of back up funding to pay Square? (Pay for square services or payroll)

Hi @Tattoochick. You can first go to Dashboard -> Account & Settings -> Bank Accounts and add a new account to your location(s).  Just click on the current account, and select “Add external bank account” from the drop down (see screen shot below).  

 

You’ll need to wait for the new account to verify before proceeding. Then you can go to Dashboard -> Account & Settings -> Pricing & Subscriptions.  At the top, click on “update payment method” and either choose the new, verified account, or enter a credit card number if you’d rather do that.

 

Note that this is not a “backup funding” method.  Whatever payment method you choose will always be the payment method used for Square services and subscriptions.
