Is There a Payroll Instant Payout Limit?

trying to run payroll with Instant Payout (next business day) for direct deposits. Money is being debited from my Square Balance which has enough to cover the direct deposit payroll (just over $10K).

 

When I run payroll a window pops up saying:

You’ve exceeded your limit

 

You’ve exceeded the limit allowed for Instant Payments. To continue with this transaction, call our support team at 1-855-700-6000 with your customer code. You can alternatively pay all team members by check.

 

Of course it's Friday night and no phone support until Monday...

Were you ever able to figure this out? I am running into this issue now and have enough in my account to cover payroll but it still says I have exceeded my limit. This has happened to me a few times over the summer when our payroll expense skyrockets because we do some piece rate work. So I would really like to figure out how I can make sure this does not happen again this summer.

Yes, it has been resolved. If I remember correctly, I had to call in to payroll support and have them manually adjust our payroll payout limit. Not something you can do from your dashboard...
