We recently switched to using Bar Powered by Square for Restaurants (previously used Square POS). Now, when certain folks put in their passcode it prompts them to clock in. We don't have and don't pay for scheduling/time sheets/payroll etc. I have read several threads but none seem to apply to my situation. Any advice?

You should be able to disable that from your Square Point of Sale app, tap Settings > Shifts > Toggle off Track team member time, or from Dashboard. You can learn more here.

I don't see Settings > Shifts > Toggle off Track team member time in our POS. We aren't currently using the Square Point of Sale app. We have switched from that app to the Square for Restaurants app. We didn't have this issue until we switched. The info in the help article for doing this in our Dashboard also doesn't help. It describes steps to turn on time tracking. I don't want to do that. I want to stop our Register and iPads from prompting certain folks to clock in when they enter their code (it does it for some, but not all employees).
