Geofencing/Clocking In

Why isn't Geofencing part of the Team app? Seems very problematic that an employee can clock in if that option is enabled. Without the security of geofencing, it's too easy for employee dishonesty. We would like to have our employee's use their phone and use the team app to clock in but if they can clock in without being present at the job site that is an issue.

Anyone else dealing with this issue?

This makes absolute sense @TheCreamist. At this time I believe that the Product Team App worked on the "clock in and clock out from the app" feature based on the honesty and confidence that Employers put in their employees.  I am well aware that this is not the case for many businesses which is why we have the option to disable this ability from the Square Dashboard.  

I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers' interest in your request.

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).
