We are a seasonal business and have used Square for 3 years without incident. We called in the fall of 2024 to pause our payroll as we had done three times previous to this, and the rep closed our entire account instead of pausing it!! We did over $750,000 dollars last summer through Square and almost $200,000 in through their pay roll and our sales representative hasn’t answered our calls in 3 days and good luck getting anyone you call through the main number to connect you to someone that can actually help. It works until it doesn’t and then you’re screwed because their customer service is so bad—no matter the size of your account. After $250,000 in sales you get an account manager, but what good are they if they ghost you?! This nightmare happen to any other long-time seasonal customers this year?

I have received no communication from Square except for this forum reply in a week maybe two.
