To Go options

Hello, we are attempting the square Beta, and when we are taking orders for food, we only have the options that are For Here or Pick Up. Pick Up requires information we do not need and would like to know if there is somewhere that we can add To Go as an option. This feature is already included in the restaurant software. Is there a way to get a To Go option for the Beta?

Hey! Since you’re using the Square Beta, it makes sense that some features might still be limited or missing. Right now, if "To Go" isn’t available as an order type, here are a few things you can try:

1. Check Order Settings in Square Dashboard

• Go to Square Dashboard > Settings > Checkout
• Look for options under Order Fulfillment—sometimes there are additional settings hidden in the beta version that may allow custom fulfillment options.

2. Use Custom Order Notes

• If "To Go" isn’t an official option yet, you can ask customers to choose "For Here" and add a note saying it’s "To Go" in the order.
• You can also add a modifier or special request field so customers can indicate they want their order packaged to go.

3. Submit Feedback to Square Beta Team

• Since this feature is already available in Square for Restaurants, it might just be a matter of them rolling it out to the Beta.
• You can submit feedback directly to the Square Beta Team (if you have access to the Beta feedback form or email).

4. Contact Square Support for Beta Users

• Since you’re using a Beta version, Square’s support team might have a workaround or insight on whether this feature is coming soon.
