I've just started using retail so I can print out my labels easily - but they look kinda boring!
Hoping you'll all share what you've been printing, is it just the stock look or do you make it all fancy?
I've not got the 'right' size labels for the square system at the moment so printed the standard ones on round labels. Then tried my own thing too.
Here are some Labels I create with my Printers software.
The Below image shows all the different labels I make.
My 2 different Custom labels, Shelf Tags, Burning Instructions on 1 x 2.25, a 1x1 price Tag, a bunch of Barbell price tags. The barbell labels sometimes are for 2 items when very Small Labels are required. I use a 2D scanner with Square that reads the square Barcodes, QR codes and even the 1D barcodes. These are just test ones I used for alignment purposes. As you can see I tested different 2D and 1D barcodes to see which fit and scanned the best with my setup. QR codes were the largest 2D barcodes and Datamatrix 2D were the smallest that works as a 2D code for me. For 1D I think we used the Code 128 font with the text Below to type in a barcode if needed. The 2 labels with Arrows are Shelf Tags for my inventory Location software.
The Below image just shows how I get my Preprinted labels that I print the Scent and Barcode to.
Here is a Quick cheat sheet we have next to our POS to keep items in the correct Category. If the price tag fell off or is damaged.
