Point of Sale

Hi I hope that you are able to advise.

At present i use my square for payments only and i am looking to upgrade to a point of sale system.

I need to know if the wand that you can purchase separately from the POS is portable as i have to take my shop out on location, i need it to work so that as each item is scanned it not only builds a receipt for the customer but also takes the item off of the website. 

If anyone has any information if this is possible that would be a great help.

Hi @Everett3391 , great to see you are looking at Square POS for your business. We have used in our ships for many years and it been really good for our business as we have developed and grown. It's given us a professional system that's cost effective with great software.

When you say wind can you elaborate as to which hardware you refer to. Is it the Sqaure reader or scanner?

Square can be used remotely. Ideally you will have Mobile network connectivity or WiFi avaiable. If looking at the scanner these are connected via USB to power the unit, so you will need USB. If you are connecting via an ipad I would recommend the stand and hub.
