Hello Can you stop the automatic updates for my inventory, please just subtract what's sold and do not mess with the rest... I have recounted several times and after a couple days Square changes it completely. THX
It seems whenever Square does updates to Square for Retail, inventory quantities change. It's happened a few times to us in the past few weeks. We're constantly having inventory fluctuate or items over selling... it's wild.
Inventory counts do seem to change themselves randomly. I have been struggling with this since I started with Square almost 2 years ago. I initially thought it was due to errors on my part, however later concluded that it was in fact a software/Square issue.
I am interested to see the comment from @DinaLRosenberg that it may be connected to when software updates occur.
It's frustrating because of this we've over sold quite a few items. Most of the time we're able to offer substitutions but sometimes we have to refund- and it doesn't feel great when we have to eat fees for something that isn't our fault.
