I sell rope by the foot. If I have a quantity of 400 feet of one type of rope and I go to generate a label for that one type of rope, it generates 400 labels! I just need ONE label per item type, not per quantity of inventory on that item. How can I get around this?
Welcome to the Sellers user forum as I see this is your first post.
Now what you can do is sell by units.... this will track 400 ft of rope but let you sell it by the foot.
The other thing is instead of in the Window where it shows 400 in Stock, cahnge to 1 in the Print dialog for Labels. See below image:
Change QTY from 400 (117 in mage) to 1 and then you will get 1 Label not 400.
Oh my gosh, didn't realize I could change the quantity there. Worked perfectly, thank you!!

I was not sure either if that changed the Number of Labels printed or the Quantity in Stock.... I tried it and Printed 1 label. We both learned something tonight.
