We are setting up our new Square POS system, and finding it extremely annoying that we need to click multiple buttons to simply add a single item when it is scanned.
1. Scan
2. Click set quantity
3. Enter 1
4. Click ok
5. Click add to order.
A simple scan should just auto add a single quantity and if I scan it multiple times it should either add it multiple times or increment the qty.
I've gone through all settings and can't find a way to just auto add a single unit of the item when it is scanned it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
This one function nearly makes out 10 year old system better.
Solution Found:
In case anyone else come across this, it occurs when you use the UOM functionality and don't have just general units.
Basically UOM functionality is broken and can't be used with a hand scanner.
We had 1 Variation with 3 UOM's under it. the 3 UOM's would scan but not auto add to the order.
As we Don't need to worry about stock we've deleted all our products and reloaded with just 3 variations for each. (1 for each UOM) and ignoring all UOM conversions.
