transfer inventory from one account to another account

I am purchasing a business that currently uses the square pos system, i was wondering if it is possible to transfer the inventory to my new account from the old owners account? Or if i will have to re enter all the inventory manually item by item?

It is possible to transfer the inventory from one account to another.  You just have to export the inventory from the sellers Items as a CSV file then upload the inventory items to your Square account as a CSV file.   Depends how big the inventory is depends how long this will take.  Usually for me it takes about 5 min or less to export my file of over 2200 items.
