Void sales - Transactional emails

Hey legends, 
Is there any way to receive auto email when bar staff has void an item? 
(we using a restaurant pos)


Under email notification tab, the only options for Transactional emails are:

Per payment

Receive an email after every completed transaction.

Per refund

Receive an email every time a refund is issued.

Per transfer

Receive an email after every initiated transfer.

 

Per Payment and per transfer, hell No... per refund, ummm make sense... cos the $ goes out and shows at close of day report.
But with VOID, its not on any close of day report nor on dashboard report tab, unless you search for it. 
I have no time to muck around with searching etc, Im setting up the restaurant pos "setting" now-ish and would be amazing to have all configurations accurate so it spit out automatic notification.

I just want to clarify whether you're looking for an email notification, or a printed receipt?

If you're wanting to set it up so that a receipt prints for a voided item, you can configure your Printer Profile settings to print out dockets to physically record voided items.

While we don't currently support the option to receive an email notification for a voided transaction, you can access these details from your online Square Dashboard by filtering under Comps/Voids in your Reports menu. This feature allows you to track and manage voided payments effectively.

 

Additionally, any Comps or Voids performed by your team will appear in your Activity Log. For more on Comps/Voids, head to our online guide here.
