I have a customer with a house account, and the only way he can pay is either cash or gift cards. He cannot pay the full balance. I heard that you can pay the invoice with gift cards. But when I send the invoice, it didn't have "pay with gift cards" as one of payment options. How can we set up so that we can pay off some of his balance with gift cards (or cash)? FYI, He does not have any credit cards or bank accounts.

@hoobyu81 when you collect payment the house account will generate an invoice. On that invoice you can record a cash payment and it will reduce the balance on the account even if the invoice is only partially paid. The functionality works just fine for cash reporting, just be aware, that it will not show as cash to count in your daily report to prevent double entry in your sales data. The sale is recorded when you bill the house account. It is up to you to collect all the money owed to a house account.
I usually record my cash payments in my online square dashboard not in the point of sale.

Thanks, but when I emailed it to myself to see which payment options are available, there are only "Credit Card/Debit" and "Bank (ACH)" under Payment Method. Where can you find in setting to edit or add payment methods?
