How to divide an item on a bill

Two customers come in and order a large pizza. They want it split evenly between the two of them. How do I do this.

That helps but it’s not quite what I’m looking for. I’m still dividing the be manually and charging them. In the previous POS system I used, you simply selected the item, how many ways it was to be split and the customers to be charged. It would show on the check 1/2 dessert $2.36 and then tax would be applied. I could simply print out the check.

this still should work as long as you are splitting the total bill and not splitting this one item three ways, this one item four ways etc of the same bill.  you can split it evenly across however many people you need or you can split by dollar amounts where some pay more and some pay less.  the customers can pay however they like it doesn't have to be different payment types, it can be 2 credit cards and one cash.

if you are splitting different items at different amounts of splits  and also not splitting the total bill then this won't work

@Shrimpyramine @Did this feature ever become available? I think it is a basic feature on other restaurant specific POS. Many customers want to split the app or dessert and not the entire ticket. @Valentina do you have any feedback?
