How do you apply a discount to a single item in a sale?

We're a café that is doing a special promotion on drinks only for the employees from the company next door. So when they order a few other items along with the drink, how can we apply a discount just for the drink and not the entire order? We do not want to use automatic discount feature as this promotion is only limited to certain customers. 

So really the question is: how to Manually apply a discount for one item in an entire order?

Hi @kermy—great question! 🙂

To get started, you'll want to create a manual discount, such as 'Employee Discount'.

Once that’s set up, you can apply a discount to an individual item in the cart by following these steps:

1. Tap Review Sale.

2. Tap the item you’d like to discount.

3. Tap the discount you’d like to apply to add it to the current sale.

4. Save.
