I have images saved to each modifier on square dashboard, but they do not appear on the checkout page of our pos system?
I'm also interested in this... it would be very helpful to identify Modifiers faster. Even though modifiers can have pictures already, they don't show up in the PoS.

At the moment, while you can add images to your modifier sets via the Square Dashboard, the images are currently viewable only within the Square for Restaurants app. You can find an online guide for creating and applying item modifiers with Square for Restaurants here.
Viewing modifier images directly in the Square Point of Sale app is not available yet and would be considered a feature request.
Could you let me know if you're both using the Square Point of Sale app? If so, are you using it on a mobile device or tablet, and is it on iOS or Android?
I can certainly double-check if there are any exceptions to viewing modifier images outside of Square for Restaurants before moving this thread to our feature request board.

Hey @Laurie_ sorry for the late reply, I thought I had replied to you already, but apparently my message didn't go through.
I'm using Square for Restaurant on the iPad, but I cannot see the modifiers images, they appear as normal grey boxes in the Menu layout. I'm not using Conversational modifiers though, I don't know if that would make a difference.

I've reached out to my team to confirm how modifier images are expected to display on the Square for Restaurants app on iPads. The article I linked suggests that images would be available, but I want to clarify whether this applies to items modified during the order/checkout flow or if it only refers to the ability to add an image when creating a modifier in the app.

While we await an update, @Tharos, could you try enabling conversational modifiers in your app to see if your images display with that option?
It's the only other factor I can think of that might help us resolve this.
I enabled the conversational modifiers, but still no images are shown. Something that caught my attention now is that if I go to "Edit modifier set" screen, I now see a banner that says "To let your online customers see modifier images, please upgrade today.", however that seems to affect Online sales but no PoS I'd say, but maybe I'm wrong and that's why I cannot see the images in the Square for Restaurants app?
