How can customers provide dish feedback for restaurants?

I want to make it easy for customers to give dish level feedback. 

 

I figure this is possible through the the developer resources square provides, ex: 

Send POS orders to an app where customers signed in with say credit card details or some other way to match their order. then send them the itemized receipt and ask for a quick thumbs up or thumbs down per dish .. 

 

Any thoughts on feasibility / existing solutions / interest in this sort of solution?

Hey there @charlie_hockey.  This capability does not currently exist in the Square for Restaurants.  What is available is feedback at the transaction level.  However, this feedback can only be collected if the customer receives an electronic receipt.  Also, it is a free-format text field, not a simple thumbs-up/down toggle.

 

If you don’t mind using a third-party app, I would recommend going to the Square App Marketplace and searching for “Feedback.”  One such app that looks promising is Ovation, which is a “Guest feedback platform for restaurants.”  It is a subscription-based app, and they are currently waiving the usual setup fee for new subscriptions.
