Pretty much as it says.
Both of my Registers are running app version 6.65sw and my conversational mods are no longer showing up on most of my items.
- I've toggled it on and off within the mod menu.
- I've removed and readded the items to the mod settings. (yes, saving in between)
- I've done a whole dang factory reset on all registers!
Anyone else experiencing this?
Recording a video and sending for support drives me up a wall, but do what you've gotta do. lol

That is great to hear, @ebuchheit. We are so happy to know that Square was able to help you and your business during the COVID-era! Thank you for all the thorough details on your modifier issue, as well.
I went ahead and escalated this over to our Operations team to take a look. They said that this issue is actually already known, and they have a fix for it set to be released in the upcoming app version 6.66 update.
Once that update is available, please feel free to download it and double-check that everything is working as intended with your modifiers. If for some reason this is not fixed, please let me know and I can look into this again.

Hi @ebuchheit, we appreciate your post. I see you are fairly new to the Square Community, welcome!
Just to double check, is your hardware for sure up-to-date? I ask because I had a seller recently with a similar problem and a quick update fixed it.
I also see you mentioned most items are not showing conversational modifiers, is this just the items that should have the modifiers or are there any in particular that are showing that should not be?

Thank you; new to the community, lover of Square since it got us through the COVID-era!
This problem is not happening on iOS register, just our physical Square registers, running Square for Restaurants. I press check for updates and it returns with up to date.
OS version: 5.55.0108
APP version: 6.65
The CMods are not there on all but two items. I have three “levels” of mods you could say (all sets have same stuff but some sandwiches include the topping in the price already). All three are not working, except for the two from my most basic set; all items are using the same settings. Convo mods should be on everything.

Thinking I should add to this… another issue I think may be related to the modifiers… it’s not combining items on my tickets, selectively.
Some items we are pleasantly surprised it 2x’d, others we read and reread to make sure there’s nothing different between the two!
I fear I will have to rebuild my mods from the ground up….

Are they also aware of the items not being combined? That is also something that is only happening on Registers, not iOS.
