Remove shipping and pickup field for in-person event items

Hello I am currently using Square payment links to sell tickets to two classes. For some reason it is required for clients to input a shipping address in order to checkout for the classes. I reached out to support and was told there is no way to disable shipping and pickup for items even though they are classes. I don't understand why it's not available to be disabled since I've never come across an event that ships items to attendees beforehand.

Hello I appreciate the advice posted on here. Unfortunately all of these fulfillment options require the shopper to input their shipping address. None of these fulfillment options really work with event sales where the client isn't receiving anything.

Hello. Requiring customers to fill out a shipping address for a pickup-only item sold VIA payment links needs to be removed. A quick solution may be to provide a check box that customers can click if they are picking the item up that will bypass the address requirement.

Bottom line - Requiring a shipping address for a pickup-only item will lead to too much confusion and potential hesitation to complete the purchase it there is doubt in fulfillment.
