How can I set my terminals so they only show the transactions made on that device?

How can I set my terminals so they only show the transactions made on that device? Right now they all show all transactions.

Hey there @9Health365 

 

In this case you would want to setup your Square Terminals with Device Codes instead of the user name and password.

 

Here are the Steps to create a device code:

  1. Go to Devices in the online dashboard.
  2. Click Create Device > Enter the device name and location > Create.
  3. Open the Square app on your device > Sign out.
  4. At the sign-in screen tap “Use a Device Code” and enter the device code to log in.

To use this feature, make sure you’re running the most up-to-date version of the Square app and of your device software.

When I go to Devices, and the only option is to Add Point of Sale. So I did that and signed out of my account on the terminal and then back in with the device code. It still shows all of the transaction for all of the devices. Do I need to do this on all the devices before it will break out just this one device?

Correct once other devices are set up with their individual Device Codes you should be able to filter transactions made on the particular devices when going into transactions.
