Disable Safari on iPad
Not sure this is the right place to post this, but here it goes. We have 2 iPads we use in a Snack Shack for a youth sports organization. We're using Square terminal. We'd like to disable/remove Safari access, but can't figure out how to do this without 1) setting up a child account, but we don't have a parent device, or 2) using guided access, but when if Square has an issue, this prevents people from easily resetting Square. We are unable to remove Safari as it is a native app.
Is there another way that we can get to this?

Hi there @gvsllas.. You can disable Safari by tweaking some Screen Time settings. Here is a link to one article I found online that details the steps.

To add on to @TheRealChipA, if you want full control over the iPad restrictions, you'll want to look into a Mobile Device Management software provider. It's more advanced than what many businesses need, but worth mentioning. These providers allow you to completely remove standard apps, limit websites, force updates, etc. I've used Jamf Now in the past.
