Who gets the tip when an employee is logged in solo and isn't eligible for earning tips?

Hi all, I read the help article about tip pooling and also reviewed the Setting page for it. I'd like to confirm that the tip just floats and doesn't get distributed if I have toggle the button "Distribute unattributed tips equally" off.  The description says "Tips received when no one is clocked in will be equally distributed among all tip-eligible team members who clocked in on that workday."

Someone is clocked in but not eligible for tips so would the tip still float?

Appreciate you patience while I conferred with our Payroll team to make sure I had the most up to date information for you. 

Depends on their settings in Shifts > Tips where you can enable the option to have unallocated tips be distributed evenly. 

If that setting is not enabled, then the tip won't go anywhere, and will remain in the your bank account.
